95 Accord EX vs 93 Accord DX
Just wondering guys who you think will win in a race, a 95 Accord EX (Auto-Sedan) against a 93 Accord DX (Manual-Coupe), both cars completely stock. The 95 accord ex has OBX headers but they will be remove so both cars can be completely stock.

I dunno, i've got my money on the '93 DX. I've raced one LX auto 6G accord in a drag race and one 5G accord from 65mph not sure if it was an auto or manual (i'm guessing auto since he was a ricer), neither had a v6, and i handily toasted both. I know i've got an EX 5 speed, and that helps a lot but since the DX has a 5 speed that's why i've got my money on it.
My car was also completely stock at the time as was the 6G. While the 5G accord had extra weight (read, body kit) intake, exhaust, big wheels, lowering springs (or maybe cut springs) and prolly some other queer stuff, at least that's all the stuff my brother caught.

agree with that, 93 accord dx. but if it was an ex it would even blow it more since it has the f22a6 stock with 140hp @ 5600rpm. i think the dx is 125hp... but it's a light weight coupe, so it's got a good chance.

Well just to let you guys know that the race took place like about an hour ago, and the vtec and the extra 20 hp on the 95 Ex proved to be too much for the 93 DX. The DX got spanked like a lil kid. I asked my friend who was driving the Dx at what speed his car maxed out and he said at 110 m/hr. The Ex driven by another friends of mines said Ex maxed out at 130 m/hr. Well thank you guys for your opinions, you guys made me $300 richer, cause the EX was such an underdog that the owner of the DX placed a bet with me that if the EX wins he'll give me $300 and if the DX wins I'll have to give him $100.
