but is there a way to check if my lude is as S or Si???
It is not on the trunk or anything and i have no owners manual...?
any websutes? or can i go to a honda dealer?
also two bumps on the valve cover means dual over head cam??
can mine be Doc???

carfax.com just put in ur vin #

 

take the vin number call honda and ask them to run it...they should be able to pull it up and tell you over the phone.,...im not sure the motor difference between the models so i dont want to give you wrong info

 

i typed my vin at carfax.com and it just said 1989 Honda Prelde 2.0Si/s
so tht's no help

i believe they both came with b20s so that wont help you their both DOHC

 

Check around on Preludepower.com in the 3rd gen forum, you should be able to find out there pretty quick
