We are buying a facility that has a new $200k paint booth and mixing station system, the previous owner was very proud of it and spared no expense. However he has died and his children don't want it anymore. The facility can be purchased with or without the booth for the same price. The concern is the massive floor space this beast is taking (It's roughly 30 x 20 and the mixing room is 10 x 10)

Now :

In terms of determining whether we should keep this booth or not, I want to know what people are charging per hour for paint services and if you are subletting your booth to local painters - what are you charging? Are there any other avenues of income I should consider for keeping this booth? What are typical wages for a painter?

 

idk much about it, but im sure it wil make u alot money in long run!!! wel think about it, paint a decent nice car will cost 1000-1500 and hire a paint guy do that would be im GUESSing 700?? so rest is in ur pocket so i would say keep it since it is there. u will spend alot time and money to remove it and remodle it, so i think keep it post pics!!!

 

So far my research has indicated that on a weekend, you can rent the booth for $135-$150/day. It doesn't seem like renting the booth is a viable revenue stream option. I will take pics of the booth, curious if you anyone has used this type before.
