Default GC with stock struts anyone????

I want to drop my car but am on a tight budget. As for right now I'd like to try the Ground Control coilover wrapped around my stock struts because their still good. Question is has anyone used the GC coilover on stock struts and were they stiff or bouncy? I tried some ebay ones years ago but they were really bouncy so i don't want to waste money on GC if their gonna be bouncy.

itll be the same results as the cheap ebay ones.

spend your money on decent shocks like illuminas.

dont cheap out on blues, or dont buy them at all.

Since you're on a tight budget, save up for a nice setup (ie. GC/Koni's sports) and in the meantime, just grab a torch and heat your OEM springs. I rolled on heated OEM springs/OEM struts for over 6mos and they rode like stock actually. But then I left a 1" wheel gap all around since I wasn't about to take the stock suspension apart just to cut the bumpstop in half and reinstall it. WARNING!! Don't go blowing up your fuel tank now son! lol

lol my cousins ek was lowered all the way down with Gc on stock struts and rode pretty damn good, didnt bottom out and wasnt bouncy at all, (it felt like stock suspension) and off the shelf rates. the height was perfect too, right on the top of the tires, no finger gap

People with "slammed" or "dumped" suspension on stock shocks... sorry, you're just kidding yourself if you think it rides anywhere CLOSE to stock.

My GC's weren't all the way down and it bottomed from time to time with 380/450 rates. All the way down on OTS rates, I GUARANTEE you that is going to bottom out, and it rides like ***.

That's just the laws of physics. No, your car cannot defy them.
