This was such a great experience for me. It was my first time attack of this year since i couldnt make it out to BW's sunday's time attack. My best time of the day was a 2.08xx but unfortunately it was not in my time attack session. My best time during the time attack was 2.09xx.
I would like to thank my new sponsor Special Projects Motorsports and the crew (Jeff, Eric, Brian, James). They provided me with my P1 Spec airdam and splitter, while Brian at Pro-Car Innovations provided me with Innovative Motor Mounts, custom bushings for all front end components, wheel spacers, wing mounts, and wing decks. They also helped me out with fixing various problems with the car on and off the track. Very great people! I would also like to thank Justin W. for helping me with the engine code, it was really nice meeting and talking to you. And John Howard & Henry N. for all their help with maintenance of the car and putting together parts. Couldnt have got here without you!
The car ran great suspension wise; but the motor kept heating up quite quick, so with further inspection... Jeff & Eric brought it down to air bubbles in my coolant and a bad head gasket since my coolant kept overflowing. Luckly it only got hot towards the end of my sessions so i got most of my track time. My last time attack session had to be ended early due to a mechanical; so i came in on my 2nd lap of the time attack and called it a day.
Onto a few photos so far, Thanks Danny (Digital Horizon) for the shots. More to come!
