Default Wheel Offset

I am planning on buying some wheels for my 08 Civic. I was planning on getting a +35 offset 17x7 and was told I will probably have a rubbing issue. I haven't lowered the car, but I will in the future. I will be going to a track event in Sept. so I don't plan on slamming it, but I was wondering what wheel sizes and offsets people are using for track. I was hoping to get the wheels a little more flush, but dont want to run into.

Replys and pictures are appreciated!

WOW, did you search, there a bunch of threads on this. You won't have rubbing issues with 17x7+35. If you want flush with no rubbing, go with 17x8+35 or 17x8.5+37 or 40 or somewhere around there.
