1994 accord leaking water inside when using air condition
I have a 1994 accord LX. Water is spilling out somewhere from under the dash. I notice water spilling on my feet when I turn right and water in the passenger when turning left. I also hear what I think is water flowing only when making sharp turns. This seems to only happen when I use my air condition. Can I fix this myself?
I sorta recall someone posting with a similar problem and it was suggested that they clean out the drain hose as it was most likely clogged and back water up into the dash area. The drain hose should be located along the firewall in the engine bay on the passenger side. You will need to drive the car onto ramps or jack the front up.

Exactly. This happened to me, and it was an easy fix. The AC evaporator unit is near the passenger footwell, and since it's cold it collects condensate. The condensate is supposed to drain out onto the road, but your drain hole is plugged with nastiness. Mold, pollen, dirt...
Find the drain hose and blow some compressed air up there. If you don't have a compressor, try poking around with a coathanger. You'll know when you're done; all of a sudden you'll have a flood of cold water. In my '95 there are two hoses, one that's easily visible and not the correct drain, and one that's nearby, sorta hidden, and the one you're actually looking for.
Seems like this is a pretty common automotive problem, not just with Hondas. It's popped up on Car Talk at least a few times.

Thanks for the info.. I did look in the engine (firewall passenger side) and notice a black plastic cylinder shape with 2 hoses on top and a hose in the bottom that drains. I did blow a canned compressor up the hose from under the car. I hope that was it. That 's the only drain hose I see. I don't see on directly from the fire wall or do I see one from under the car. I will use my AC for the next couple of days and see if i can built-up water again. I'll see what happens in a couple of days.
