Default New track opening up in PA

Well there is word that there is a new dragstrip with oval tracks opening up. Here is the letter. Apparently it is in Douglasville PA right off 422.

Louis J. Mascaro
President
Liberty Bell Motorsports Park

Dear Motorsports Enthusiasts:

I am pleased to report that on August 23, 2007, the Union Township Zoning Board voted to approve the proposed Liberty Bell Motorsports Park and Campground. This decision allows the project to go forward legally with certain conditions outlined by the Township and agreed to by all parties. This approval will allow us to proceed to the land development permitting process. This is, simply stated, a technical review of the plan as it relates to impacts such as earth disturbance, site grading, sewer, water, landscaping, erosion and sedimentation control, etc. We do not anticipate any problems during this review process. Much of the enginneering has been completed and we hope to begin construction in the spring of 2009. Construction of the park will take about 6 to 8 months. I would ask that you be vigilant in checking the website for construction updates as the time approaches.

Lastly, I would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you that gave your support during the last 7 years. I know the end result will be a “World Class” Motorsports Facility second to none.

Nope, Maple Grove is so domestic it's not even funny, and we all know domestics can't turn.

Not sure, but this looks to be a markedly familiar layout to what we're used to

yes there could be, but that would require a 1/2 mile or more x 300 or 400' of open space in order to do so, I do not know the scale of that plan or the general size of the lot by looking at the plan but I do not see where it would fit, possibly crammed into the RV parking area or the east side of the site.

That would be nice. The last Import event I recall seeing at the Grove was when Ben Ma rolled his Focus rubber side up.

When I first read it I was hoping for a smaller type of venue (think cecil county, but new!).
Either way, that would put yet another drag strip under an hour from home.
