I received a call from Jess this morning saying the GSR wasn't where she parked it last night. It appears the Geezer has been boosted again. Gosh i love hondas.
We moved from our old residence just 1 month ago in hopes to avoid this ****, i guess it didn't help. The car was parked directly outside an extremely well light hotel which i live directly across the street from.
This is twice the car has been taken from about 20 yards of where we sleep. Last week i noticed hand prints across my hood from what i think may have been the thieves testing it for an alarm. The car had enough dust on the hood that the angle in which i sit on the car made it fairly noticeable from the drivers seat. To be honest, i haven't thought about that again until this morning.
To make matters worse i am out of town on business. Jess is stranded with no car. Her co-workers are assisting her after she is done with the police.
I'd like to say i am pissed, but that really isn't the feeling i have right now. Its odd really, that someone wasn't happy enough with what they got the first time around. I guess i should look at the positives, and that i we don't have children and that we can afford another vehicle once the insurance company compensates us.
Well... thanks for reading. I hope this doesn't prompt me to do something i have contemplated for too long now. I love the R, i love this community, but the fact of the matter is that owning the car isn't realistic anymore at this point in my life. I am hanging on to a vehicle that gets tracked about once a year if i am lucky. I am not saying i am bailing, but there is going to have to be a lot justified to keep the damn thing.
Growing up sucks... thieves suck....this morning has sucked!

Damn Jon... sorry to hear man. At least the R is stored somewhere else and you shouldn't have to worry about it. Thieves do suck, but until stiffer penalties are put in place they will continue to do what they do.

sorry to hear JD. if you wanna use my R as bait let me know. Ill come down on a Friday night, drive around town and hit up all the ricer hot spots, park the R outside your place, set up camp, wait, shouldnt take more than a day or two. we can get those [freak]s.
