Default Azeni pressure testing at autox test and tune

I started with 36fr/36r and thought that was a good place to be. However, a national type driver started helping me and after driving my car told me (after telling me my car needed 245mm tires!) that the back end was too loose and was slowing me down in corners because it would go out so easy.

I dropped the rear pressure down to 32psi and it felt much stickier in corners. My times dropped by .7 seconds, some of which could be due to other driving advice the guy gave me.

This is on a car with KYB AGX, LSD, a 19mm rear sway bar and mild (just stiffer than ITR) springs.

I was left foot braking, so getting rotation was never a problem.

You've got it just about right. Most FWD Honda/Acura Azenis drivers and even the one sole Mazda drive have their PSI set to 35-37 front and 31-34 rear. I'm right around 36.5 front and 33 rear. Since the Azenis have a super stiff side wall you really don't need to pump them up like a regular street tire.

Hey did you parents ever think about calling you Dick instead of Greg??

Put the word dick in your name instead of greg. Then Say your full name. You'll get what he meant.

Running the rear pressure lower does seem to work best for me I ran 36 front 32 at my last auto X and loved it. I saw a post of wetting the treads down to cool them in between runs as I got some greasy feel out of them by the 4th run will see if that helps keep the traction.
