Infineon Wednesday Night Drags......any experience?

I dono if im at the right spot to ask this but w/e... anyways I plan on finally taking my car to the Drag Strip on August 6th and was wondering if any of you guys had any experience at Infineon Raceway, Sonoma CA? Hows the process...like do i drive up there park and walk somewhere to register to Race or whatever? I know its a Nooobie *** question but i don't wana just show up there and wonder around looking like an idiot ...
Also i know theres regulations for street cars..I have a turbo but dont have a filter on it, just a screen .....and I also have a tube from the valve cover running to the ground to remove excess fluidz ..Do i have to have some sort of a catch can for that?
Last but not least, if any of you are from San Jose...do you know where i can rent a trailer and for how much?
any info will help out...
The person taking your money at the entrance usually tells you where to go for tech inspection. You will need a catch can of some sort for that line or you wont go down the track if they catch it.
How fast do you think you'll run? Make sure to bring a helmet.
I believe you need to run a muffler as well.
I rented a trailer at Uhaul for $50.

you drive up to the entrance. they ask you race or spectate you say race, they charge you, as you enter, go twoards the barriers on the right, and thru the fence, theres a guy there thatll tech you in,
you need to have your battery tied down, good tires, coolant overflow tank, the rest of the stuff should be fine. gotta have a muffler too.
he will tell you what lane to line up in and write a number on your windows.

Do they require a helmet or a fire jacket??? The only place I have been (ghetto california speedway) requires a helmet for any n/a car trapping faster than 13.9 and a helmet AND fire jacket for any turbo car trapping faster than 13.9. They require a cage for any car trapping faster than 135mph as well.
Of course the first time I went they didn't tell me any of this **** except that I would need a helmet for faster than 13.9.
I would call and ask just to make sure. Oh and don't forget to talk to someone who knows wtf is up, otherwise you'll get some dumb lady like I did and maybe not get to run.
But Phil sounds like he has been there just a few times before, I'm sure he knows.

theyll trip about the cutout . they're kinda dicks about that there, even though the domestics are so much louder.
if you run faster than 13.9 you need a helmet
no fire jacket needed until you hit deep into the 11's i think

In my opinion Infineon is better than Sac in so many ways, too bad they will probably never have an import event there. The track prep on a Wednesday night fun drag puts a CMI events track prep to shame (except for the time when Sac had people "sponsor" the spraying of vht before eliminations)
OK enough ranting for me lol, I'm just glad we have places to race in the Bay
Infineon is a NHRA track so they go by those rules. Any car with an aftermarket turbo or nitrous is supposed to have a fire jacket, but they usually don't check.
If you going faster than 13.9 you need a helmet.
Faster than 11.5 you need a 5pt roll bar, welded in, helmet and fire jacket
Faster than 9.99 or 135mph you need a 12pt NHRA cert'd cage, helmet, fire jacket, pants.....
As for the cut-out they are pretty strict about it on a Wednesday night. There are decibel meters along the track and they have to stay below a certain decibel at night because of people living near by. You can see the decibel display on the lower left window of the tower as you are pulling up to the lanes. Try making a pass with the cut-out off and see what they say
My friend was running an open 4" dp and that didn't set of the meter, but the popping from his anti-lag did when he was burning out and building boost at the lights
