HC drivers-
The next round of the 2008 MWHC Championship Series at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course on August 15-17 is only a little over four (4) weeks away and we currently only one (1) entry, Walter McKinney. Where is everyone else at? Remember that this is your last chance to get some practice in at the site of the 2008 NASA National Championships before the event in September. Please guys & gals do your best to get registered ASAP so we can make this event the best to date for the MWHC.
Tentative schedule: http://racenasa.nasamidwest.co...o.pdf
Race Tech form: http://www.nasaproracing.com/i...h.pdf
Toyo Regional Race Rebate form: http://www.nasaproracing.com/f...e.pdf
Hawk Performance Contingency Rebate form: http://www.nasaproracing.com/f...y.pdf
Exedy Clutch Contingency Info: http://www.nasaproracing.com/f...y.pdf
Also, so as to promote NOT racing out of class, which has been an issue with other race groups in our Region this year, I will be mandating YELLOW, 6” tall HC class designations per this thread on the NASA Forums: http://www.nasaforums.com/view...23171
As the thread says, I will have the vinyl with me at the track and they will be available to you for $1 or a beer (NOTE: two (2) required). If this is an issue and you can’t afford this then see me in the paddock and we can work out other arrangements.
I hope to see all of you on the entry list in the coming weeks leading up to the event and really look forward to seeing everyone at the track again! I will be in my normal paddock area, up in the grass near the restrooms/showers (group showers just for you, JFO).
Regards,
Sam Myers

A week has gone by and now we have two (2) entries, both in H2, Walter McKinney and Erik Olson. C'mon guys, just under 3 weeks until the event and we need to get our entries in.
Also, per the "TENTATIVE" weekend schedule, we are shown in Race Group A with the big bore "Thunder" group, so we will likely be doing a Standing Start on the Pit Straight while the rest of the run group will do a Flying Start on the Back Straight.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the track very soon, and I plan to paddock in my usual spot up in the grass. I'll do my best to save some room for everyone else.
Regards,
Sam

Paid for Road America and Mid-Ohio now too.
Damn you for making me register two events ahead of time.
Actually, three events, incl. Nationals.
