Alright I Just Need Some Good Plain Answers
My Brothers Got A 91 Hatch With A D16Y8 In It, He's Converting It To OBD1
But One Thing Is Holding Him Up And Thats The Dizzy, He Dont Feel Like Modifying
The Y8 Dizzy, So These Are My ?'s

What Dizzy Can He Use In The Y8 Head Running OBD1

And One More Thing, I Know U Cant Put A D16Z6 Dizzy On A Y8 Head Because It Don't Fit, But Can Change The Dizzy Mounting Bracket On The Y8 Head And Put The Z6 Bracket On And Just Run The Z6 Dizzy If So I Have A Z6 Parts Head And Dizzy Thats Why I wanna Know?

Ive Also Heard U Can Use A D15B7 Dizzy Too Is That Tru

you would have to run an OBD2A TD-80U dizzy from a 96-98 ex. the 99-00 civic use a smaller plug on the dizzy/harness that uses 1 less wire (crank sensor i believe)

 

use a D15B7 distributor on the Y8 head
