JDM H22A Bell Housing and Oil Pan
I recently acquired a JDM H22A EG and noticed the Bell Housing had a chunk missing. I need a replacement but I am new to H's. Which Bell Housing will work and where can I go about getting one? I just don't want to spend $600+ on one from Honda. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.
Also The oil pan is dented pretty bad. Will any H22 oil pan fit? Also, when I search for parts, what year should I be looking at that will fit the JDM H22? Thanks Again.

you are going to want to keep most of the parts you buy for that car OBD1. An H22 oil pan from any year will be sufficent.
A dented oil pan will cause lack of Vtec
And the bell housing is on the tranny. I forget if its the housing that covers the flywheel or the internals of the tranny.
If its the housing for the flywheel, and its not affecting performance, Id JB Weld it up. And if its just to big a hole, JB Weld some soup cans on it.
It would be suffienet for now.

Its a chunk off the bell housing. Has nothing to do with performance because its not the actual case that holds the gears and fluid. Well not until a rock flies up and messes up the flywheel or something. And what do you mean keep as much stuff OBD-1, I'm just wondering what parts will fit. Like bolt-ons and the pan and bell housing and stuff. I just don't know what to look for that will bolt to it. Thanks for any information.
