I would love to come up for an event. I had so much fun with you guys at NOPI NY and OH. Maybe I will try and make the Oct event. Can we bring race fuel over the border? Anything we should know about while traveling across the border? Also how safe are the cars at the event? I know a few of my buddies have went to CA to visit and came home without their cars.

Just google maped it 416 mi – about 7 hours 14 mins

What is the sfwd equlivant class?

Yes you can bring race fuel over the border. Your best bet is to contact the tracks
Cayuga and St. Thomas Dragway

As far as CSCS's SFWD equivalent, it's called SS/PA (Super Street Power Adder) and it's not the same as SFWD as there are RWD cars in the class. HOWEVER, this past weekend in Montreal, the class' first 9.50 was run, and the rest of the class is running 10.00 and up.... there's a few people who have the capability to run the 9 second passes, but it just hasn't been done yet.

Are passports now required for border crossings? Mine actually expires today.

I think so, but you might want to check with the border.

Doh! Nope, the weather is almost the same as PA this time of year. We don't go into our Igloos until January!

The canadian capital for car theft is Montreal, not Toronto. Sad but true.

The Pro Compact class is a great class for your older run of the mill Honda Hotrod that runs between mid 8's and low 9's. We don't have those GM Hotrods that do consitent low 8's like in the States. It really is a lot of fun and it's anybody's game, like it used to be for you guys years ago.

it would be great to see you guys running here, new cars are always a head turner. Hey if we make it out to your events over 12hours away im pretty sure you guys can make it to ours.

Mononctsi is right car theft is high in montreal vs toronto.

Passports, no you dont need them yet ,as long as you have your drivers licence and birth certificate your fine. at least thats what i use.

Bringing fuel over the boarder is fine, we do it all the time when we goto your events.

All event info is at CSCS.ca or fukenricen.ca

As for WEATHER, no way is it cold, if i can sweat my *** cheeks today then you dont have to worry about the old myth of canada being cold lol.

I think you might still be ok with a driver's license and a birth certificate.

EDIT: didn't see the post above mine, but yeah, what he said.

It would be great to see a lot of the US racers come here to race. Their is a class for everyone to run in. The Cayuga and St.Thomas events usually have a great spectator turn out. August 9th should be a great race as it's a Saturday night event from 11am-11pm. Plus at that event, they have Drifting/road course/time attack all happening at the same time.

Pro Compact = Hot rod
Bully All Motor = Pro All Motor
SS/PA = SFWD T/S
SS/AM = Street All Motor
Street Warz = 12.50 Index racing (must be import)

Don't forget about Canadian beer.

Also on a positive note, CSCS held their largest event ever at Cayuga earlier this year.

I might be up for the October 4th race at Cayuga. I would most likely be in the 12.50 Index class, but I'd need the nitrous by then.

Maybe we can get a huge group of people from the states to come up for the sept or oct race. I know of a few people that are down to come up.

St. Thomas is only about 2 hours further than Cayuga for people coming from the Northeast, so I think either would work.

I'd be down to caravan out there.

I also have a tent that can fit 14 people.

I really want to go to the season finale, I'm just not sure how many people will want to come up with the Outlaw race at Etown the next weekend. I'm definitely in for whenever a bunch of people on here want to go up though.

1 gallon= 3.7 Liters= 5.18 for a gallon of diesel and I though $4 was getting crazy.
