Will JDM DC5-R Brembo caliper and 5-lug wheels fit USDM DC2-R?
How many pot does the DC5-R Brembo caliper come with? Anyone here have this conversion? What about the DC5R wheels? They are 17's and should fit correct? How much should one be paying for something like these?
4 pot... and if they fit/work well on the DC2 R, and you can get them to the US for well under the price of the Smurf calipers, you sir, will make some money...
DC5-R wheels have +60 offsets.
Calipers will not fit without modification, and my guess is you will pretty much need 17" wheels to clear them.
My advice is it is not worthwhile.

Would you need custom brackets to mount them on the DC2? (Seeing that the DC2 caliper is in the front and the DC5 is in the rear) Or will it just bolt on?
...doesn't matter front or rear mount... it is a bolt spacing/off set issue... Can't see it being that easy... if they did fit, all you would have to do is swap the bleeder(s) and cross over ends...
I can check my master catologs and see whats the main differences between the two. I can also give you approx. pricing for it in Japan but you may not get that price in Japan as it's Dealership pricing.
DC5R Brembo calipers come in 4 piston (cast steel caliper). You have to do some special machining to make the rotor work. DC5R wheel will fit to the ITR.
For the price why not go with other aluminum calipers which design to work with your existing setup and ofcuz ABS competible.

Didn’t know the DC5's were steel...
If your referring to the $poons... I'd rather have a swift kick in the nuts than be seen with gay Smurf calipers (read conservative old guy)... now if they came in flat black, had an available rebuild kit, and were priced more like what they were worth... say in the $6-700 dollar range, I'd own two sets... I'd do Wilwoods first...
