em1 catback?
hey guys, my stock exhaust is broken and im not sure if its worth repairing, i have searched but have not been too lucky finding catbacks for my em1, (2000, b16 all stock)
can anyone tell me a cheap decent catback to look for? preferably one with GOOD fitment that can bolt on easily to the stock cat.
Thanks

well from my experiences with aftermarket exhaust, they generally need a little bit of modification to get them perfectly on your car. it'd probally be cheaper for you to find a muffler shop to either make you one. or do what i did and just find one on here and have it fitted for your car. i ended spending 370 for my exhaust, and i got a brand new cat, used world sport b-pipe (had to have it stretched a lil), custom axle back to a not fart can muffler lol. and thats 370 including labor.
i think i spent about 370 on my last exhaust not including labor to have the hangers repositioned...... it fitted like ****, still does. and it sounded like **** compared to this one.

definitly a good idea to do it that way but i dont think i have the time to piece one together , know of any cheaper catbacks for around 300-400 that i can just order and have the shop fit on? doesnt have to sound amazing just needs to fit good
really it didnt take me long at all... and honestly you could probally have the midsection just made up... just stay away from those coffee can mufflers lol. but i'd say hit up a local family owned or mexican owned muff shop and see what they can do for you 3-400 done and installed is definately do-able.
