Moroso Motorsports Park update

The plans for the track surface have changed. The original plans were to have concrete to the 1/8 mile, mill off the top of the asphalt and be re paved.
The track surface has since been upgraded.
It will be totally concrete start to finish. It is being done according to NHRA National Events Specs and NHRA tracks specialist Wayne
really? ive witnessed many records broken at moroso over the years...and now the track will be a full nhra sanctioned track with 1320' of concrete

Come on Fred, Florida itself is a swamp
If you watch an episode of Top Gear where they travelled the country, they were doing some goofy stuff at Moroso and the lake or mud pit inside the track has a few friendly alligators in it
Looks to be Moroso will be the best track FL has to offer

maaan... i haven't been to moroso since my blue Si was the first to break 13s all motor in 99 (that we knew of at the time). 13.7 @ xx mph (forgot) and this was on 17s
i love that place (that and the fact it's the only 1/4 mile track within reasonable driving distance.)

are they getting rid of the old tower? i know space might be an issue with the road course, but i think they need to upgrade. especially if they want to hold big events there.
lol..that was the tracks office by the front gate.. they are keeping the old tower it seems.. the road course will be on its own side of the track now.. able to run road and drag events at the same time

that could be great !
