i have and 89 civic si 1.6 sohc(non vtec) it doesnt start im not sure what it is checked for fuel,changed distributer,checked for spark, it sounds like it might not have any compression has anyone ever been threw this problem please help thanks

 

well the only way to check is to pull a compression and leakdown test....try souble checking your timing

Timing belt Jump time? I'd check that too

 

dont tell us what kind of car you have or type of engine. just say you have an "ef". first of all, does the engine at least rotate?
