Default d16y7 clutch question. asap please!

i need to install a clutch/throwout bearing asap. the only one that i have available is the 20spline from a 91crx si. (according to clutchcityonline.com : they are the same size/diameter etc, but the part numbers are diff)

i need to know if i can install that clutch etc without a prob? or do i need to wait till i can find another one?

thanks!

Call honda, spend an extra 20 bucks, order the bearing, do it right. I got the same problem except my input shaft bearing is going out, and believe me you dont want to wait untill your doing 85 on the freeway to figure out the bearing you saved a few dollars on just busted.

well the clutch kit comes with all the bearings.... that was my question... if all will fit....

(my car currently, if i release the clutch pedal, makes LOTS of noise, if i engage the clutch, then all is well.... disengage clutch and noise galore....)

Though this isn't your exact answer, it might help...the y7/y8 are a 20 spline count as well.
