Well I got it started today, and it wont idle anywhere lower than 3500 RPM. We have adjusted other things and get it down to 1500, but it wont go any lower. We are using an HF dizzy. Anyway, I have no idea what could be wrong.

And someitmes it wont start, and it will make a weird knocking noise and the whole motor will start shaking. Me and my freind earlier siad it sounded like the flywheel was loose, but I can be pretty sure its not that, but that is what it sounds like. I dont know what it could be.

Sometimes it will dot hat knocking when it turns off. Any ideas? The cam timing is pefrect, 100% perfect.

Lets say the water pump is bad, can it cause the motor to make a weird knocking noise somehow?

Also, ont he back of the A6, there is a coolant line(i guess thats what it is), and ont he ZC that line goes to the oil cooler, but there isnt one ont he Z6. I have it run to the throttle body, and on the other side of the throttle body I dont have anything now. But before I actually drive it I need to straighten everything out.

Okay well I went out and started it up, and what it does is it will just rev by itself all the way up till i shut it off.. i need some help...

 

Okay well again, I am back..

Well I got the idle down where it should be, and everything like that. But now it bogs bad when its reved.. The ignition timing was like all the way advanced I guess, so i moved it backwards, and it idles like perfect but it revs long and slow. I dont know what the problem could be, maybe the timing is too far up or something, I dont know. Any ideas?
