Help finding cooling fan wires
Hey guys,
I need helping finding out where the stock cooling fan wires are, When I bought the car they were chopped off, I just have the new slim fan wires going directly to the battery, but I dont like the fan running ALL the time.
I guess ill yhave to figure out what wire makes it a pusher and what is a puller.

how many wires? two or three?
depending on the motor in the fan it may be as you put a "puller" or "pusher" if you reverse the wire connections.
Your cooling fan should be wired to a relay though. You sould get a manual and wire it up properly as it is controled by the temperature of your coolant off the thermostat I believe.
IT CAN NOT run all the time so don't hook it directly to battery.
Its not made for 100% duty cycle and your battery/alternator wouldn't last long either. I don't think you would hook it up directly to battery but all you mentioned is that "you don't like the fan running ALL the time" You Could however run it off a switch in the cockpit but than you'd need to hit it on around after your car is warmed up to insure it doesn't over heat. The problem with that is it will keep running and cooling your coolant untill you turn off the switch, which isn't exactly what you should have happening for many reasons.
Oh you can test the direction of motor by applying 12Vdc to the wires of the fan. You need to mount it securely though as the motor is pretty powerfull and you don't want your fingers getting in it some how magically. It must be up right though so you can feel if its pulling or pushing depending on the wire connections you make.

ok,
what I am asking is, Where is the ORIGINAL cooling fan plug/wires? Im sure the stock fan had to plug into somewhere, but where? If I take the new fan and tap it into the original fan plug, itll work and work when the ecu tells it to turn on so it doest run all the time.
