TWM Performance is proud to be a new vendor here on Honda-Tech, and we have some great products for the 8th generation Civic!
Short Shifter Adapter and Bushings
One of our best-selling products since its introduction, the TWM short shifter adapter for the 8th generation Civic has been widely acclaimed by the community as a must-have modification for every enthusiast. This is a strong one-piece CNC machined adapter with a design guaranteed to last the life of your vehicle!
The short shifter adapter reduces throws by 22% and the installation takes a matter of minutes, we provide everything necessary for the install with the purchase of the shifter. To make the installation even easier, we include a special cup remover tool and now offer the shifter adapter with an optionnal installed plastic pivot cup to avoid the risk of breaking the stock unit when installing the adapter.
Also available are the base and cable bushings for the 8th generation Civic to complete the experience of an improved shift. The solid aluminium base bushings provide a more solid contact point between the shift assembly and the body of the car, eliminating unwanted play in the shifter caused by the mushy stock rubber bushings. For an even more complete transformation, the bronzoil shifter cable bushings remove flex from the stock rubber cable bushings creating a more precise shift feel.
