jdm corners are clear, those are amber so that makes them vision or a vision knock.

Those aren't JDM corners.
I also see blades and GSR seats. Car looks clean, good slate. It's funny how if this car was dumped people would be swinging on OP's nuts.

haha, color match and drop and Ill be swinging.
But the amber corners on a teg are the JDM corners... and in magazines that sell corners they advertise jdm clear, jdm amber, and jdm black. along with euro clear and some others... so I figured amber corners were jdm on a civic too.

amber and smoked amber are made by a aftermarket company in japan, they arent a oem product. oem jdm corners are clear.
The term jdm is used very loosely now and its more of just as a sales tool.

haha this guys thread turned into a JDM discussion thread quick. OP the car looks like a great, daily drive-able, clean civic. Keep it up!
Nah, it didnt, were just talking about HIS amber corners. I thought they were JDM... but like that kid said, aftermarket or not, if its japanese aftermarket its JDM. haha. But That wasnt what I ment, I was talking OEM, they knew what I ment.
So then what about the amber corners on tegs? Are those OEM cause everyone on here called the clear corners rice... is the clears are OEM then the ambers would be rice... thats how my mind works anyways haha.
But hey, Ill help out the OP too. If your looking for ADVICE, Id say lower it right away. its getter ready for the rainy season looks like, its ok my teg is there too.
id color match the black and thats reall all id do.

The corners that came on my teg are USDM i believe, they have the half amber half clear like the JDM ones you posted but they arent as clear... more plastic looking I guess. A, your coners are exactly what I want but the 94-97. Mine didnt come with the ones you posted as USDM... do they makes those without the clear plastic, I want full amber like your 98-01 but on my 94.
the corners are from ebay. the only think i will prob do to the car is lower it. but not much. the motor is a built d16z6 with a mfactory tranny. it is my daily. but highway mpg sucks. do you guys like the valve cover? or should i go wrinkly red?

How are you going to sit there and tell me it didnt turn into a discussion about the term JDM when 6 of the, I dont know, 10 posts were about nothing more than that... THEN write a paragraph about it lmao. wow.
OP I would definitely NOT expect that out of the car. Gearing makes all the difference in low HP cars. I bet she is FUN to drive. As far as the valve cover... I dont know, thats pretty much personal preference. I dont think I would do either or the choices you gave. Id go simple on it, nothing gaudy(sp).
