RHD crx conversion, need help!

Default RHD crx conversion, need help!

I Recently picked up a 88 crx that was converted to rhd the car came with underdash harness from the rhd clip but no engine harness. what my question is can i use any other engine harness with the rhd underdash? or do i HAVE to use the jdm engine harness any info would help Thanks.

nowun knows? if i can use any kind of USDM engine harness with a 90-91 rhd crx underdash??

You should be able to you any USDM harness from the Si, the only different is where it goes through the firewall, essentially it's the same wires/sensors... The JDM harness does have a few less things since they don't have the emission crap we had...

Wouldn't that depend upon the engine / trim?

I'm assuming he's talking about a D15b(ZC) or b16 since he's gone the JDM RHD route... But as long as it's a USDM Si harness it will have all he needs to make everything work and then some! In all reality you only need 8 wires in the engine bay to run everything, and more than half of my harness is a waste of weight/space since none of it's being used!

If you have the know how, I would just find out what Pins on the ECU are what and individually wire them to the corresponding sensors, etc... Not only does an engine bay look much nicer without a 1/2" thick harness snaking around, but it's a mini wire tuck since you only have 8 wires running around! The fuse box can be relocated to the passenger inside fire wall!
