Hi,

I have a '03 Civic Si with 65k miles (and 3 car payments left). The A/C compressor just seized up and I'm hoping to get some assistance from Honda with the replacement. From what I can tell it looks like the EP3 uses the same compressor as the '02-'04 CR-V. The CR-V has had a ton of A/C failures and Honda seems to have been pretty good about helping those guys out.

From reading EPHatch and other sites, compressor failure seems to be pretty come on the Sis as well, but Honda probably sold at least 20x as many CR-Vs, so it's probably easier to see a pattern with those.

I went by the dealer and they said that Honda was helping out with the CR-Vs but not the Sis. From what I can tell, the use the same compressor. Does anyone have the part numbers? I can't see how they could deny goodwill warranty to me if the have the same compressor.
