Default New suspension on 94 accord-front too low for my tastes.

I put KYB AGX struts with H&R sport springs. The front seems lower than the advertised 1.75" drop that they advertised. Its more like 2.5 it seems. What can i do to raise it up a bit? I was thinking doing the "cheat" and either pulling the fork down a bit and tightening it at the base of the shock or getting extended stud top hats and do a "Washer" job.

Any recomendations?

AS i think about it, i should probably reset the front strut forks up a bit, then retighten them. That would probably give me another 1/2 inch of clearance.

That should do the trick for you.

Sorry i havent taken pics of my setup but this is what i have:

KYB AGX struts
H&R Sport springs

Stock EX wheels
Kumho 195/60/15 tires

front tires are almost tucking into the wheel wells.

Rear is perfect-2 finger gap.

I hear that autozone carries spring spacers which will raise your car up a bit. I think this is what i need to do.

Anybody know about them?

i honestly cant answer your question on those spacers but the only solution i could think of is getting some coilovers.

i just bought some coil spring spacers from Energy Suspension. adjusting the strut with addition to the spacer should do the trick. then, its time for an alignment!

the springs were clearly marked F for front and R for rear, so they are put on correctly.

here are some pics of the drop. I want the front to be the same as the rear, a 2 finger gap:

That is about the same drop I have with Ebach Sportlines, with 1.75" drop in the front. That is how my rear looks with stock springs in the back though. I have not installed my rear springs yet because I need to get shocks for them, and I want the back to be a little higher because I tow a jetski and carry people every now and again, as well as both jetski and people. I have about 2 finger gap in the back as well.
