im thinking about putting a power sunroof from a eg si coupe that i have in a parts car into my eg dx hatchback, whats involved with swapping and which parts would i need of the parts car? has anyone done this before?

May be somebody has done it, but man it's not easy.

 

i figured it wouldnt be easy at all. ive done the power mirrors,windows,and locks swap just planning on doing the sunroof swap if its possible

 

its posible BUT quite a bit of work!!!

but if ya dont mind hacken out the roof

your probably better off buying a aftermarket power sunroof and instaling it....
lets face it the EG sunroofs didnt open up that much anyways

 

swap the roof, that hole for the sunroof isn't something you can just cut out, if you look at the hole in the parts car you'll understand what i mean. Find an SI hatch, get the roof out of that and weld it in.
