oil pressure/ valve adjustment

i adjusted my valves today and now my oil pressure is going haywire. up untill 3500 rpms it does fine but after that it starts to drop off. it didnt do that untill i adjusted the valves. any ideas guys?????

is your pressure gauge electric? maybe you have a bad ground on the sensor or unit.

no its mechanical. thats why i couldnt figure out what it was. i loosend the valves back a little and its fine now. but once again my valves rattle just a little.

didnt know your valve adjustment would affect your oil pressure like that???

valve adjustment has nothing to do with oil pressure..
oil pressure is controlled by bearing clearances, and the oil pump.

maybe your oil pump is taking a ****?
