My Transmission keeps slipping
When I first pull off 1st and 2nd gear seem to sort of over-rev then shift into gear. But once the engine warms up it's fine. Anyone know what's going on? I checked the fluid level and it's good. Any help would be much appreciated.
time for a rebuild........I would personally recommend getting a reman from honda than going to a local shop. I had my trans rebuilt in my 98 accord V6 by kennedy transmission and the unit failed no less than 4 times within 11K miles.........I should have bought it at the honda dealer and installed it.

How do you get a remanned from Honda? Cost?
Also, how easy are these to install? Just drop it out and put in new? Cross member in the way? Need to lift engine at all?

Does this require a cherry picker, or can you do the jack+wood under the engine...
ugh... subframe != cross member, subframes are a bit of work if I recall correctly.
Costs are used trans + 300-400 to change them out?
