So I picked these up the other night:



as you can see they're in pretty decent shap but wouldn't hurt if they had a full restore to make them pop again.

here's the car they are going on:










here are the various options I'm considering:

-Spokes: gloss black, gunmetal or white

-Decals: "VOLK RACING" in blue with white outline(for black or gunmetal only) or black with blue (for white spokes)

-Lips: Blue anodized or Polished

-Bolts: Polished(any color spokes) anodized blue(any color spokes), Black(only if the spoke area is white)

-Center Caps: Paint matched with rays in blue or polished with rays in blue

also open to other ideas, but those listed above are what I'd primarily like to see

I looked in the volk wheels thread and didn't find any GRNs that were done close to what I'm looking to do so decided to make a post for some help

Here's a very quick rendering I did for you. You get a decent idea. I didn't do the lip. If I get time, I will take more time and make the lines cleaner and do the lip as well.

 

hmm never thought about doing the bolts blue....that looks pretty cool IMO thanks

well considering they aren't yours and you aren't the one selling them what's it matter to you??? I created this thread to see what some possible ideas might look like I'm considering for when I get them so I can start immediatly

anyone wanna make the polished lip area black with the polished bolts still showing through fro my original idea....I like the idea of "double lipped" but think I'd rather have the black be the whole center section

Because I'm starting to like several different designs I think I might need to make a "contest" thread to help me choose which one I go with....winner gets like $10....sound like a good idea?
