ek hatch taillights

Default ek hatch taillights

mine have the amber turn signal piece, is there a way to remove it or are the clear turn tails a jdm version?

Look at it, does it look like the amber piece can be removed to make it clear?
If not then I dont think it's worth the trouble making it "look JDM"

i did look at it, but i thought i would ask before i got ripping it apart. i like the look of clear turn signals better than amber and i am going to laminex them anyways but amber looks like **** under laminex. not everyone is looking for that JDM look so chill

The red/amber/white ones are for the '96-'98 models. The red/white ones are for the '99-'00 models. The JDM taillights don't have a reflector in them and the lightbulbs are situated a bit differently.

The amber piece is a part of the taillight and cannot be removed.
