Loud popping noise upon warm up
I just bought an 89 crx with a dohc zc motor and for the most part it runs and idles just fine...when its cold.
But as soon as it warms up to operating temp. i have no power before 4500 rpms and after 4500 then i have full power and it performs like it should.
When i am SLOWLY accelerating up to 4500 it cuts back and makes this really loud popping sound. But when its cold and i get on it, it doesnt cut back or make the popping sound.
I have no idea what the problem could be. Does anyone know what could be causing it? I need to fix this asap please help HT

well i just bought it on wednesday and unfortunately used up all my funds so i have not had a chance to do a tune up
but for sure ill be lookin at the dizzy tomorrow. i had a few ppl tell me its the timing but i have no idea at all how to time this thing
