Alot of old B16s tick, I adjusted mine twice and I know there perfect. It is supposed to be because of dirty valve train componets. Don't think your the only one, I know a whole bunch that tick like that....

My valves were ticking in mine and i had a performance shop adjust the valves and it helped a little but i could still hear it so i think its a chronic problem for many B16 owners.

Same problem here. I got a CTR cam and it was working great for about a month. Then all of sudden it ticks real hard and loud. But I'm going into honda tommarow to find out if its anything else besides maybe the normal valve adjustment i need. since my Seconday O2 is also out.

All Honda motors do have some valve clicking. But its pretty quiet.
