Adding a throttle body spacer to your vehicle can help to improve your vehicle performance in a variety of ways. The primary effect is to improve the quality of the airflow, allowing air that is more condensed and, thus, more oxygen laden, to enter the combustion chamber.
The result of this is a more efficient burn, which serves to release more energy from the fuel, making more horsepower available. The more efficient burn is due, in part, to the better quality of airflow made possible by the throttle body spacer as the vehicle’s computer detects the increase of oxygen available and makes the necessary adjustments to the air-to-fuel ratio.
