propotioning valves for rear disc swap
ok, so im doing a rear disc swap on my 89 crx si. i have a 90 crx si, and today i pulled everything off that i need, except for the proportioning valve:the bolts were rusted on.
Ive read all over here, that some people have done fine without the 5050 prop valve. and I was just wondering is this ok to do, or do I absolutely need the prop valve?
Im thinking that i really will need it, because thats the right valve for the discs, thats what honda intended so it must be right, but just wanted to see, maybe i can shortcut/save some time.
there was no clear answer anywhere, so just wanted to get it straight before i go back with a hacksaw and wd40.

wen i did my rear disk swap i didnt replace the stock prop valve (25/30) till like a couple months later with the 40/40...
its recommended to swap it out wen u do the rear disc brake swap because it evens out the braking in da front and rear
