what's the diff between the p05 and p06 ecus???
P05 is a for a D15B8 found in US CXs. P06 is for a D15B7 found in US DX, LX and canadian CX,DX,LX,EX civics
do you have any idea hy a p05 would be in my civic lx sedan with the d15b7??? also, i have had it running my d16z6 until i get my p28 in the mail, is that going to be a problem????

That's "a" difference, the main difference is the fuel maps, the CX is a lot more fuel efficient than the B7.

'Cause somebody put the wrong ECU into it - common with hondas, people always seem to go under the "eh, it'll work" notion. It shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep the revs down - if they go up the CX's fuel tables are lower, you can lean out and sling a rod using a CX ECU in a B7.
Just keep the revs down and you'll be fine.
