What type of tranny fluid??????????
Hey guys, i no people have talked about it a million times and i cant seem to find it but i temporarly have 10w-40 and was to get honda MTF, but its too exspensive for me, what alternatives are out their that i can use for my DD that will be smooth shifting all the way to redline?????
a lot of guys swear by GM syncromesh, never tried it myself, but i hear great stuff about it, don't think its any cheaper. Personally i just run 10W30, my tranny has 350,000kms on it and doesn't grind, shifts smooth as butter. It does have some bearing noise though that i will have to look into someday.
GM dealership, i seem to recall reading somewhere that its made by pennzoil for GM, but i could be completely wrong on that. $10 a quart isn't that bad, its not good, but its not that bad either, you only need 2 or 3 quarts if i remember right. so you might be looking at $30.
