I have to paint a hood on a VSM civic and other parts. I plan on buying a quart of base and clear, a pint of primer. I am a little worried about buying paint from paintscratch.com and it not matching. What should I do? I want to do it myself, please dont tell me to get someone else to do it.

 

find out the paint code and try and match it to the website

 

they have the paint color. I guess im worried about the paint it self. does anyone recommend paintscratch.com? will i have any problems with it sticking to the original paint, with spot repair work?

 

i've used paint from them before. they do a good job matching.

i like that site. bought some Jasper green metallic for my sisters BF car. i color matched his front bumper and i just bought a qt of the same color to do his hood.
