Alright here's the mods I have (or will have, if I don't sell the car)

01 py ITR (the yellow is good for .2 seconds)
ATS final drive
Exedy Clutch
Toda flywheel
Stock rims w/ 205/50/15 azenis
Mugen Header 4-1
Mugen twin loop exhaust
Carsound Cat
Spoon drop in filter

ok what do you think with just those mods??

Now add these mods to those and what time to you think?

JUN 3 cams
JUN ECU p28 chipped
JUN valve train
AEM adjustable cams sprokets (w/ loctite and upgraded bolts, I know I know)
and tuned

I think you would gain a lot by getting a new exhaust. The design of the Mugen is restrictive, and those JUN III's are gonna wanna breathe more.

first setup .. i would say mid-13's= possible

second.. i would say low-13's on slicks with some weight reduct., MAYBE high 12's with weight reduction/slicks/different piping/raise compression(esp. testpipe) -tuning!

id say high to mid 12 with good traction, assuming that your a good driver and your have the jun 3 head package etc....

a R with I/H/E, advance timing make high 13 easy with a good driver, ive seen a guy in mtl do 13.9 only with a alternator pulley and toyo ra-1 tires

with out a doubt, slower then me.


But should be in the mid 13s but don't see much fater then that without tires.

I know you want to hear low 12s but I don't think so. not yet

what ya have now might get you into the very low 14s and for the new stuff with the old stuff maybe mid 13s

 

with your present, if your a good driver you can hit mid to high 13, with good tires

as present, high 13's after a couple runs

 

what about after the mods

 

Id say 13.7- 13.9 before and 13.2-13.5 after assuming thats on slicks

Id also look into hondata
