so lately my steering has been sucky. if i make a right(or left), the wheel wont snap back into place as the car straightens out, the car will straighten but the wheel wont...ill be driving straight with a wheel a full half turn sideways. i also noticed that when i turn the wheel all the way it sounds like its grinding something...or metal on metal almost.
i also get vibration at high speed(not just the wheel but feels internal).
and the car doesnt turn good at all. i get alot of body roll and the car feels as it wont turn anymore after a prolonged turn(like in a traffic circle or a far lane left turn).

im not sure what to check or how to check them. whatever it is, its scarring me to drive.

btw: its a 89 hatchy.
