Supposedly rocket is trying to get some roller rockers made for b series and possibly h series. I know ferrea and toda make these already for use on their "vtec killer cams" or vtec eliminators, whatever they call them. I know we are going to have to run roller cams, which I believe rocket said he would manufactur. What kind of gains do you think these will yeild ? Are their any other advantages of these besides less frictional loss ?
with the correct cam profile you will obviously get less frictional losses and you can gain top end RPM. what kind of gains you will see will depend on a bunch of other factors not just the cams and lifters....
but...pleanty of engine setups make great power with the conventinal cams/lifters....for the extra cost of going all roller is it worth it? perhaps spend the extra money on head porting/header/tuning etc....

The main purpose of roller rockers is to allow the use of more aggressive ramp angles on the cam lobes, this is where the extra power comes from. You may gain a few percentage, power wise from the lower friction etc, but it's the cam profile that makes the power.
The other benefit, depending on the roller rockers type, is it becomes possible to use billet instead of cast. This alone can give you a 3 to 4% benefit. Hollow core, etc.....
