I am a Desmo head all the way.

Triumph really only has one good bike applicable to this list (read: 675). They have gained a reputation for making exotic but not so fast/nimble bikes in recent years compared to other makes. So adding them to this list is not worthy.

i agree but triumph has stepped there game up, the street triple sold out instantly and the speed triple is also a great bike.

The amount of misinformation you spew is incredible.
So what's so bad about the speed triple? The street triple? The Sprint?
Nothing, you're just another ignorant redneck that reads a lot of magazines, and never bothers to ride bikes.
You and RJ. should get married.
me? i'll be out riding bikes, Borrowed an '08 600RR for the day...

I've owned all four of the Japanese Bikes, as well as a Harley Davidson and I can say hands down Honda does it for me.
As far as dirt bikes, it's tough to beat a Yamaha 2-stroke (although The CRF-450R would be a nice bike for a 4-stroke).

I've talked to a lot of guys that have raced in enduros championships for years, and most of them coincide in that the Yammy 250 2T was always faster than others 2T 250's, Hondas, Suzuki, Huskys, etc.
Only rode one, a 98 WR250, was a blast...I've want a dualsport or enduro bike so much.

They've never ridden a KTM 250SX...It makes FAR more power, not to mention far lighter than anything in it's category.
Dualsports/enduro's are so watered down, I couldn't stand one. It'd be like wrestling a fat girl in bed...I'll stick to the skinny 100lbs hotties.

The KTM 250sx has a stellar motor for sure, but it's suspension is a joke. For trail riding or enduro use, the Katoom is a nice bike, but for the money, I'd prbably still take a YZ250, add a small flywheel weight, gear it to 14/52 and call it a day.
Now, the new KTM 250 with electric start, that would be nice on an enduro.

oh noes, you fellings were hurt so you call me a redneck? idiot.......might as well resort to yo' mamma jokes.
as for the the others like the speed triple, street triple and sprint.......
I can name five bikes right off of the top of my head from different manufacturers that not only perform better, offer better reliablity, are more comfortable and not only cost less than your precious Triumph lineup.
I do ride bikes, LOTS of them. I have grown up around professional motorcyclists and they have an abundance of motorcycles that are there for me to take a spin on any time I would like. Triumphs are included in their selection.
Every Triumph I have ever ridden has been extremely uncomfortable for me and I feel that the handlebar position they like to apply to their bikes is a bit awkward. I feel they are better suited for smaller stature riders rather than big guys like me.
FROM EXPERIENCE, I have not seen very many highly competitive machines come from Triumph's stables with the exception of the 675. The other bikes they offer are kind of a step down if you ask me, and since this was a poll, I was asked.
go on, run and play outside. Let the grownups talk.

As do the other manufacturers... And obviously you haven't ridden a street or speed triple, or a rocket three, or a triumph tiger.

Apparently neither have you, so why comment?
Been reading those magazines with everyone else you point fingers at?
Can the omniscient attitude and you may end up not looking so hypocritical.
