Default Stock gsr 11.905@118.06

Well its about time i got into the 11's!!!!

Stock gsr turbo just crossed over 160k miles
AFI street kit 57 trim 12psi E85...

60ft : 1.754
1/8th : 7.726
mph : 93.75
1/4 : 11.905
mph : 118.06

The slicks are 25x8.7x13

I still think that the slicks are too tall for my power level. The car has been 12.57@120 on street tires...i think it could go 122 on street tires if i could take it further in 4th gear...i hit the rev limiter about 30ft before the end of the 1/4 on street tires...

Over all id say for the slicks being over 2 years old and being able to cut a 1.754 60ft with an opendiff is a good thing....

I believe that the car can do better...im thinking i can get it to 11.7 if i can get some smaller slicks these 25's are too big but they seemed to work tonight!!

What power did you make on the dyno with the 12psi?

havent been on the dyno since i retunned on 12psi...but i am guessing it has between 350-360whp....2700lb car trapped 120mph.

The car made 321whp on 10lbs on pump gas..

thanks joel!!! yeah i need to try some 23's...the only thing is i think i will run out of gear...considering my street tires are 205/50/15's = 23.07 inch tires and i hit the rev limiter 30ft before the end...so as the car sits i cant trap any higher unless i take the rev limiter up...and i dont quite want to do that yet.... so i think with the 23 inch slicks i might do the same... but there is only one way to find out!

great job! It definently has more in it. I have the same setup pretty much and went 11.82 shortshifting 3rd with a 1.69 60 with an ls tranny. I used 23 inch slicks and they worked great. Give em a try. You will be even more impressed

Good job

Check out my signature. I went 11's with a stock GSR and "street tires" that are to big for my power level. I would like to crank up my boost a little more and try for lower 11's with the same tires. too bad I have not driven or touched my hatch in like 6 months and its just wasting away in the garage.
