Default Ls crank

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a question i have a ls/vtec motor thats gonna be pushing out 600-650hp will the ls crank be able to hold up that much power or would i have to go to an aftermarket crank? Micropolished And Balanced Of Course. If you guys can help me out i'd really appreciate it thanks.

Honda cranks are very tough. There is a guy out there with a 1000 + hp Civic, and he is running a B18C1 crank. Survivability depends on how well it's tuned.

So i might as well stay with my crank no need to go aftermarket? I've been thinking real hard about this and im stuck on this decision others say go aftermarket and others say just stray with the crank and make sure to balance the pistons, rods n crank

Anyone else know about this? Will the ls crank hold 600-650?

if a guy with a 1000+ hp civic can use it, why not a 650 hp lsvtec?? and come to think of it, i've never heard of any cranks failing.
