hard to match that color...here's a few tries that are sorta close.

 

i dunno if i'm trippin or not, but when i started to look at the photo of the red civic in photoshop, it appeared that the red color was a photoshop job as well.

 

i dunno, but i remember mugen 76 from CHB and his car is red

good job on the PS, you know what you are doing man

 

nevermind...it's just the blur on the oustide that ended up touching the car a bit.

 

are you using levels or hue to make those color changes? they're really, really smooth. i assume you're pen-tooling and freehand lasso-ing that badboy before changing the colors correct? or mebbe you're using the 0%saturation with a colored overlay? just curious. not many high-end photoshoppers on this site who'll swap skills .

I create a duplicate layer and delete all the parts i don't want to change color. Then I use either hue or levels, depending on how close I want to get it. For that change, I used both.
