I've heard no negatives. I've spoken with Earl Laskey (RIP) a lot over the years. Always been a helpful guy. I'm sure Mike, his son, is the same. Good luck

Why dont you call them and see what they have to say. I feel its always good to form your own opinion. However, they do have a great reputation like you've said. What do you plan on doing with your motor? Sleeving, rods, pistons, etc. ? They use Benson sleeves and prefer to use CP pistons I know. Which are both some of the best products in the market.

Laskey has a very good reputation. Do a search on here and you will see many threads on them and people vouching for Mike. Got a chance to speak to him a couple times when I took my motor to him. Very nice guy! Can't go wrong.

Can't beat Laskey . Benson sleeves, Manley rods, CP Pistons... but most important a shop that knows how to properly build an engine. User Xiaogou here on HT had his engine built by Laskey a few years ago. It was expensive but as he said, "peace of mind" in knowing that it was done right.

I never had issues with the build or sleeves, just make sure you provide your own block for the build. I paid to get a b18 from them to save time and costs in shipping and the block needed a few head bolt threads time-certed b/c the threads were destroyed.

Big to Laskey Racing. We sell their motors and will be running them in both race cars later this year.

all i have to say is Mike is a great guy. I had my D16 built by him. Great customer service, call anytime, usually answers the phone, if he doesnt leave a message and 20 mins later he will call back. Always kept me up to date with what was going one with the build, and wants a follow up after you get it running. Overall, all around great person to do business with. to laskey racing.
