RMR~ WHERE IS EVERYONE??? King Of The Mountain (you can win $600, yes YOU!)
I just got a call from Ralph, RMR race operations and they are wondering where everyone is. I hope everyone is planning on getting out there soon! When I talked to him there were 20 domestic cars there for the King of the Mountain and ONLY 2 IMPORTS!?!?!?! All of the imports that can make it out need to get there, from what I am being told the future of Sport Compact classes at RMR depend on it. Ralph, Ron and Dad worked very hard after NOPI bailed out to convince the track owners that the event needed to still go on. Please don't let them down
Just in case you have not heard about it here are the details.
Domestics and Imports... This will be a heads up race for each style..
Tree: .500 Pro Heads up
Qualifiers:
16 Domestic, 16 Import Will be selected from all cars that run in trials on Friday. ( 10 to 14 second cars )
We will use a slide rule format to find which 16 cars in each have ran the closest ET Wide Open no diving or sandbagging.
Eliminations:
Heads Up no break out! first to the finish. But if a car runs quicker by .10 of their qualifying run they will loose, this car will be considered they were sandbagging to get in the show. This will keep people from putting on power adders after they qualify.
Final Import and Final Domestic will race for over all Track Dominator... to make this fair the ET ran from their last run will be used for a dial in.
The cars will hot lap from the last round to make this.
The slower car will get the head start, No Break out, first to the finish wins bonus! No SANDBAGGING .10 rule will apply
Pay out for King of the Mountain
$100.00 per round won
$200.00 Bonus for winner
$600.00 Total for King of the Mountain Winner.
Track Dominator
$300.00 Winner
Total Winner money: $900.00
Domestic and Import Bracket Race 2 separate classes one for each (for all cars not qualified for the King of the Mountain)
Tree: .500 Pro Dial In and Brake out rules apply
NO ELECTRONICS (delay boxes) Trans Brake, Auto Shifter allowed

Only 2 Imports, I have heard from people at the track that currently:
The Supras are there (Woon, VW, and Phillips)
The Local Hondas (Green and company)
I know Evil Eagle should be rolling up anytime.
I will be leaving tonight from Boise, so I will see the track tonight around 11pm. Will the Imports get another round of qualifying tomorrow? Schedule only shows 1.

those cars are the sport front and sport rear cars. WE do not have any one here for the King of the mountain... at this point would be an easy way to make a few bucks since there is only 3 imorts here for it at this time... COME ON OUT!! Tech does not close till 6 pm and we will give any one who shows up and gets teched by then at least one run.
This is Ralph im at the track some how I got on with Joes sign on.... LOL
