Yup, this is a little late, but better late than never.

Its short and to the point too...

Date: friday july 25th

Location:---This is where it kind of takes off. You can meet up along the way, we are starting in Greenville SC and we are stopping in Asheville NC, Knoxville TN, and then continuing on to Nashville. You are more than welcome to meet up anywhere along this route.

Time: Depart from Greenville at 7am sharp. I know this is a hoot since last year i was the one who was late, but being one of the people who puts import alliance together, i think it would be good to get there as early as possible. Getting to Nashville around the 3-4pm range is always good on friday. This means that Asheville should be 8:20, knoxville at 10:25, and nashville by the 2:00 range. I have left time in there to eat and relax, so no need to rush.

If anyone needs any other info, pm me, although im out of town pretty much all weekend and when i get back in town next week i only have 2 days free.

What's the departure point in Greenville? Is leaving at 8 a possibility so I don't have to be **** tired driving from Clemson?

Ben, are we going up I-85 to I-26 to I-40, or highway 25 to I-26 to I-40?

 

I hope not 25 to 26. That's far as ***** from me lol

 

Yeah, it's close for me but I'm thinking for your and everybody else's sake it'd be best to meet somewhere off of I-85 and head up that way...oh well we'll see.

Greenville people: We're meeting up on I-26. First exit that hits North Carolina (forgot the exit number) at 8AM at the gas station. I think there's a Burger king there as well.

Asheville people: Meet us at exit 44 off of I-40 between 9:30 and 10:00 AM at McDonald's.

Trying to get everything finalized. Ben or myself will post up for sure tonight if anything changes. Just trying to get few things worked out

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen...

FOR GREENVILLE, the meeting location will be <FONT SIZE="2">Cherrydale Point</FONT>. Let's meet in the Ingles parking lot, next to the embankment adjacent to Poinsett Hwy. If everyone can be in place no later than 7:45, then we should all have time to grab breakfast in the area, and LEAVE at 8:00 sharp. This will take us directly north up Hwy 25, then on to I-26 and into Asheville. It's 56 miles between the two points, so we'll say one hour travel time.

FOR ASHEVILLE, the caravan should be exiting off of I-40 on exit 44, (Smoky Mtn Hwy, 19/23) shortly after 9:00. We'll need some guidance where to stop, or else we'll probably just pick the nearest gas station that will accommodate everyone. Let's plan on heading out no later than 9:30. It's 102 miles to Knoxville, so we'll estimate an hour and 45 minutes travel time.

FOR KNOXVILLE, the caravan should be arriving in town close to 11:15. Don't know if we're picking anyone up here, but it's a good mid-way point for gas and lunch. Unless someone speaks up, we'll just plan on finding a well populated exit on the outside of town to stop at. Let's plan on leaving Knoxville no later than 11:45.

The next drive is 177 miles to the outskirts of Nashville. This is about two hours and fourty-five minutes of driving, so we should land there by 2:30pm. Some of you might be staying in Lebanon or have other plans. You'll have to come up with a game plan along the way.
