Here in Washington state, we use the obd2 scanner when is time to do emissions.
we dont use the tailpipe reader on obd2 vehicles
I just installed a o2 simulator from o2simulator.com and no engine light at the moment.
i got rid of my cat because cracked.
will the car pass?

yes if the device is working right an no CEL light it will pass

 

Not sure about WA but in CA the continous and non-continous monitors need to be set also. These monitors are run at different times and usually take about 50 miles to set them to complete.

 

o2simulator.com told me that it will pass.
is just a obd2 scanner here in WA

 

Those monitors that I mentioned are a part of the OBDII test in CA. Without them set is a fail.

WA may not test for them... Will you let me know if they are? THX
